HĀNM is a British-born, founder-led brand established in 2012, built on a commitment to ethics, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. What began as a small creative project led by our founder, Nurjan, has grown into a global modestwear brand trusted by women around the world.
All HĀNM pieces are designed in London, where every fabric, colour, cut, and detail is intentionally developed with a focus on quality, comfort, and longevity. Our fabrics are chosen for their natural fibres, breathability, and skin-friendly properties always prioritising how each piece feels as much as how it looks.
HĀNM’s community has expanded far beyond the UK, with a rapidly growing customer base across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and beyond regions where our premium fabrics and thoughtful designs have deeply resonated.
Giving back is a core part of who we are. Every month, HĀNM sponsors orphans through ongoing Sadaqah Jariyah programmes. Every purchase contributes to this, allowing our customers to be part of something meaningful whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Each order helps fund the education, care, and daily needs of orphans, becoming a form of sadaqah jariyah that brings lasting hope. In 2024, we expanded this mission with our community kitchen in Gaza, funded through collections like Leve Palestina, now feeding thousands of families every day.

Meet Our Founder
Nurjan is a Visual Artist, best known for her Swarvoski artworks that have been auctioned in both Sothebys, Doha, and Bonhams, London. Her talent has also been sought after and commissioned by Royalty and high profile clients. HĀNM was founded in 2012 by Nurjan, as she felt there was a lack of options within the modest fashion space for Muslim women seeking large-sized hijabs and easy hijab styling solutions. Passionate about her mission to bring large, sustainable fabrics to the modest fashion market, Nurjan has worked tirelessly to make a change through her exclusive designs whilst upholding strong brand values of ethical fashion.
